Ramadan is a month of patience. Muslim community keeps fast for the whole month which is considered the fourth duty of Islam religion. Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic calendar. Ramadan month is of 30 days. The Islamic world celebrates this whole month with great hard fast and complete reverence to commemorate the descent of the Holy Quran on Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (Sall.)

It is believed that on 27th Ramadan, 'Lailatul Qadr' was the time when the Quran first revealed upon Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (Sall.) As soon as the moon appears in the sky, the start of the holy month of Ramadan is announced in the whole world.

Ramadan is divided into 3 parts, the first part of 10 days is said to be a period of mercy, the second 10 days is called the round of forgiveness and the last 10 days are called the saving phase of the soul from hell.

Ramadan makes sense of equality. 5 duties of Islam have been considered compulsory, every Muslim must have faith in him; Roza is also one of them, it is necessary for every Muslim. Every member of the family keeps the fast, except for old, young children and pregnant women. Roza begins with the feast before the sun rise in the morning and ends with the Iftaar after the sun sets.

Roza does not mean to be hungry, it also has to keep the soul clean. Muslims do not even drink water during Roza. Muslims stayed away from all kinds of intoxication in Ramadan. Blood pressure during fasting in Ramadan is also normal to practice wellbeing, orderliness, obedience, patience and selflessness. This is the only month of the year that deeply affects people's lives.

In the month of Ramadan, people openly donate Zakat (charity). Zakat is one of the f most important duties of Islam religion. It is compulsory for every Muslim to believe in it. Muslim community donates according to their status so that poor families can also open Roza. Eid-ul-Fitr, the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is celebrated with joy in the festival of Eid. Ramadan is also called the season of good times, during this month, Muslims do more worship of Allah.
