Goddess Lakshmi is usually worshiped on Diwali. Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped with Sri Sukta, Lakshmi Sukta etc. This worship is very effective because it is the worship of Lakshmi Panchayatan. Devotees who worship Lakshmi Panchayatan get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi very soon.
For preparation the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, keep Roli and Akshat i.e. raw unbroken rice, a prepared plate of worship as well as flowers, incense and incense sticks. Put an idol or photo of Goddess Lakshmi along with Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati.
Apart from this, keep two elephants of Goddess Lakshmi in their worship or sugarcane to worship them. Keep red cloth, a Chowki, betel nut, coriander seeds, cotton seeds, lotus flower seeds, dry whole turmeric, silver coins, sweets and some rupees in worship.
Keep all the material of worship in the worship house. Place a Chowki in the house of worship and place a red cloth over it. Place a photo or statue of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati on the Chowki. Also keep a statue or photo of both elephants. Place 3 heaps of raw rice in front of goddess Lakshmi picture for Lord Vishnu, Kubera and Indra.
Begin the worship and light a Deepak (lamp). Burn the lamp in such a way that it burns overnight. Then you can also take a large Deepak. Also burn incense sticks. Invoke Lord Ganesha and remove all obstacles that come during Lakshmi Pooja. Do Tilak on Lord Gnash’s forehead with a Roli.
Burn incense sticks, offer fruits, burn incense and offer sweets (Naivedhya) and worship Lord Ganesha by lighting a Deepak. After this, worship Goddess Lakshmi. Do Tilak and rice on Goddess Lakshmi's forehead with a Roli. Worship with incense sticks, offer flowers, worship with incense, offer sweets and worship Goddess Lakshmi with a Deepak.
After this, offer coriander seeds, cotton seeds, dry turmeric, silver coins, lotus flower seeds, betel nuts and rupees to Goddess Lakshmi. Along with Goddess Lakshmi, also worship Lord Vishnu. Worship Lord Vishnu with incense sticks, flowers, incense, sweets, fruits and lamps. Pray to God Kubera along with Goddess Lakshmi for getting wealth.
Worship Lord Kubera with incense sticks, fruits, incense and sweets. For the prosperity of the house, along with Goddess Lakshmi, worship Lord Indra as well. Worship Lord Indra with incense sticks, fruits, incense, sweets and lamps.
Now worship Goddess Saraswati. Do Tilak and Akshat with a Roli on the forehead of Goddess Saraswati. Worship them with incense sticks, flowers, incense, sweets and Deepak (lamps). Pray to Goddess Saraswati for divine knowledge and guidance on the path of life.
After this, worship two elephants present in the picture. Offer sugarcane to the elephant pair of Goddess Lakshmi. After this Pooja, Sing of hymns in praise of Goddess Lakshmi.
