Human life is blessed by dedicating this yagna to Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Nav Grah, and Nav Durga (Goddess).
Sahastra Chandi Yagna is an extraordinary, extremely powerful and great yagna which gives immense blessings of the Mother Goddess. In Sahastra Chandi Yagna, devotees have to do a thousand recitations of Durga Saptashati. Ten five or hundreds of female men can be included in this lesson and it can be done in a pandal-like place or in a temple courtyard. Not every Brahmin or Acharya can do this Yagna.
For this, if a scholar and a masterful teacher who recites Durga Saptashati and is an exclusive devotee of Mother Durga, who follows the whole rule, then the fruit is achieved. Any kind of omission may also cause the wrath of the mother, so full care is required. In many places in Sanatan history, it seems that in the old times, the Gods and demons used this yagna continuously to be strong and energetic.
To perform the yagna, firstly Havan Kund is sanctified by Panchabhut Sanskar, for which the altar is cleaned from the obverse of Kush and coated with cow dung and clean water. After that, draw three vertical lines from left to middle of the altar separately from south to north. Then throw some mud out of the Havan Kund with the ring finger and thumb, and then sprinkle pure water with the right hand in the altar. In this way, after performing the Panchabhut Sanskar, start the next process and light the fire and worship Agnidev (God of Fire). After this, worship mother Durga with worshiping Lord Ganesha and other deities. This mantra is chanted to meditate in Yagna.
