The highest Divine Being, the demolisher of the Evil power and the most lenient God of Gods, Lord Shiva or Bholenath or Neelkanth or Mahadeva is believed to be the origin source of all religions presented in the world now. Described in various verses of various sacred books all over the world, it is said that when Gods set their foot on the Earth the first time, those were the times when every inch of earth’s parcel was blanketed under unimaginable vastness of the ice age. As stated in the description of Purana, Shankar (Lord Shiva) is the name of RUDRA which is the name given to him by Veda. Lord Shiva is called as the Divine Almighty because he is invulnerable against the enormous sin power of Ashuras and so he has saved Gods of the Heaven from the insuperable challenges of the Ashuras.
Lord Shiva is not endeared to just Gods, but he is venerated by the Ashuras as well, specifically Guru Brihaspati (the Guru of Gods) is believed to be a perfervid devotee of Lord Shiva.
The days of July-August hold main significance as they are the times famous to start of Lord Shiva worship. Though worship of Lord Shiva is believed fortunate in everyday, particularly on Monday, but Sawan Maas is given the maximum regards from religious outlook, as in these times the transcendental force of Shiva rests at its peak, so devotees are at the getting side of blessings, magnanimity and boons from Lord if they worship the God with reverence by heart.
